You can talk to people by phone this is appropriate if you need to communicate with someone easily and affectivly and allows you to get a response quickly. Compared to email.. you can get a sense of what the person is like via phone for example the contacts personality when speaking to them on the phone. Email is effective if you need to send an image, if you haven't got time to contact the person you need to communicate with you can send a quick email to them instead. Cost - it dosent cost anything to send an email compared to a phone call which can cost a lot of money depending on what network/contract you are on. voip e.g. Skype this can be useful to save money because it is free. On the other hand time schedule's have to correspond and both contacts have to be on the software at the same time. The way Skype works is via webcam this can be useful if to save travel money, instead of the person fly over which can cost money you can communicate with them over webcam. memos you can send them to multiple people via notice board which is useful to send a quick message to loads of people for example employee's without telling them 1 by 1 which can be very time consuming.
To contribute ideas effectively people should talk to others in a face to face manor, it is the most effective because you can feel their emoting which can lead to a better response from them or if they have reasons to not approve you can get a full understanding of why they feel the way they do. If thats not the case then you can talk to them by webcam you get to see their face which is effective to get a response from them if thats not the case then by telephone or voip is the next best thing because your hearing the other contact speaking which is useful to determined how they will react to certain circumstances. If you can't talk to them by phone then email is only other option this won't be very effective because you won't hear or see them they may not even read it which will waste your time and effort you spent trying to communicate with the other contact.
To give back good feedback you have to as honest as possible. Doing so will help the other person so then can improve in the future and the projects that they are assigned to. if you're receiving feedback then you take that feedback appreciate the honesty and learn which allows you to improve your product.
You can show video presentations and talk to people in in these situations to make sure that everyone understands you. You have to evaluate your audience, if you have a less technical minded audience you may make the presentation more clearer verbally and take more time to explain what you are presenting to help them understand what your trying to explain. You may also want to show them videos or sound's to make them understand better than just speaking it also makes the presentation less boring. On the other hand, if you are presenting to a more knowlegable audience then you are able to use more sophisticated words but yet still use video's/images because presentations are naturally boring and you need to keep the audience paying attention so they fully understand you.
When i had a general discussion about my prezi presentation with ben i was able to learn what i did right and what i did wrong, for example, i had wrote down facts which i knew were right on the screen but when presenting i decided not to read from these facts and decided to say what i knew which was very brief what i should of done was take a moment read what i had wrote and comment on it and i know now to do this thanks to my talk with ben.
